Speech Language Pathologist Opportunities

We are excited to announce that Nurture Learning and Development is seeking one additional speech language pathologist to join our team of exceptional clinicians. 


Our mission at Nurture is to provide outstanding, innovative developmental support to children and their families through direct service provision, and professional development.


The successful candidate must meet criteria for licensure with the CSHBC, have significant experience working with pediatric populations, as well as be highly motivated and committed to ongoing professional development and best practice. 


Specific qualities we are looking for in our candidates include:

  • Analytical problem solving skills; 
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based practice; 
  • Ability to develop warm relationships with clients and their families;
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills; 
  • Strong understanding of child development across domains; 
  • Organizational & planning skills; 
  • Leadership abilities & willingness to work collaboratively within a team setting.


If you are a new clinician, we offer an incredible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) program designed especially for Speech Language Pathologists who do not yet meet criteria for British Columbia's Registered Autism Service Providers List - providing mentoring & experience necessary in order gain RASP list entry eligibility. Through this year you will have opportunities such as:

  • Providing evidence-based treatment on topics ranging from early social engagement to executive functioning, motor speech, and narrative language.
  • Gaining certification in JASPER therapy (Kasari et al., 2021), 
  • Coaching parents navigating their diagnosis process
  • Taking part in autism diagnostic assessments.


Throughout these experiences, you will enjoy ongoing support from  Nurture Directors.

Occupational Therapist Opportunities

We have a strong team of Occupational Therapists. While we do not have an immediate opening, weare always open to discussing opportunities with the right candidate.
