The Nurture Parent Path

Nurture Parent Path Terms of Agreement

We look forward to welcoming you to the Nurture Parent Path. Please take a few moments to review our community terms of agreement. By joining the Nurture Parent Path, you are agreeing to the following:

1. The Nurture Parent Path is not a replacement for therapy. The Nurture  Parent path is a space for learning and sharing strategies and resources.  This community is not a substitute for therapy, and participation does not create a therapeutic relationship between you/your child and any of the Nurture Parent Path team.

2. Specific questions related to your child’s goals, therapy, or therapists should be directed to your child's therapy team. This means your Nurture Clinic team members if you are a client of the clinic. If not a client of our in-person clinic, please direct these questions to your own home, school, or community team.  You are welcome to share the ideas, strategies, and resources you have learned here with your team to help them support you and your child.

3.  The Nurture Parent Path team members are mandated reporters. The Nurture  Parent Path team are all mandated reporters. This means that we are required by law to report any actual or suspected abuse, neglect or harm to children. Posts that suggest harm, abuse, or neglect will be removed, and we will communicate directly with the author of the post.

4. The Parent Path is an inclusive space. Nurture families come in all shapes and colours. We welcome you regardless of your race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, neurotype, or dis/ability. We ask that all community members post respectfully and remain supportive in their community interactions.

5. The Nurture Parent Path is a respectful space. Your community is moderated by health professionals who are legally required to maintain a respectful tone in all conversations with clients as well as with other service providers. In the Nurture Parent Path, we respect different opinions on therapy approaches and service providers. All members are asked to work towards building a respectful community in all of their interactions within the Nurture Parent Path space.

6. The Nurture Parent Path members will respect other's privacy. The Nurture Parent Path is a space where families may share private information about their child or family that they may not otherwise post online. All members are asked to respect this privacy, and will not repost videos, comments, or any other materials in other spaces.

7. The Nurture Parent Path cannot guarantee privacy. All members are asked to abide by our privacy policy. However, the Nurture team cannot control the actions of individual members. When using this site, members acknowledge that any data posted on Circle is not protected by health information privacy laws, and any postings could potentially be shared by others.

8. Nurture Parent Path moderators have the right to delete comments or posts that do not adhere to the community standards outlined above, and may revoke community membership if members do not abide by these standards.  No refund will be provided to members who have access privileges revoked due to non-adherence to community standards.
